Yep that's us. Who else would be Cruisin' on a sunday afternoon in a car that looks as though it stepped out from yester-year? Who else, but us! Long drives on a sunday afternoon in our PT's is as close as it gets folks. Back to a time when the days were longer, the nights were brighter and the fun was easy.
I, for one, have not enjoyed caring for a car so much since my 1969 Nova. For the first time in decades washing the car is no longer a chore, it's an act of love. Polishing every detail, shining every piece of chrome and glass to a brilliant gleem, which, of course, can be seen in my eye as I look at her with a hint of pride. That's my PT. That's my baby. You laugh, but you know you feel exactly the same. Hard to admit isn't it? America's love affair with cars is a note of our heritage that will never die. Loving your car is nothing to be ashamed of. She takes care of you, you take care of her, how could it be anything less?!
And, on that note is born the North Port PT Chapter of the PT Cruiser Club. We hope you will join us for good conversation (about our cars of course), social events and whatever else we can think up together. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us through the link above. Happy cruising!
